Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Full Stack Engineer for our consulting client based in Boston. This role will be fully remote sitting in India. This individual will join an established development team to enhance and expand a complex, dynamic web application. On a daily basis, this person will build and optimize modern React (TypeScript) UI features, often using config-driven components and working with complex data objects, while integrating real-time API data streams into the front end (including Server-Sent Events). This person will also contribute to and support Python REST APIs built with FastAPI, working within a microservices architecture deployed in containerized environments. Throughout delivery, this person will write scalable, maintainable code, partner closely with global teammates across time zones, and ensure quality through unit and integration testing as new features are released.
Compensation:
$14.00/hr to $20.00/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
-6–8 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer
-Strong ReactJS experience, including React + TypeScript
-Experience with Redux Toolkit, Bootstrap, and modern front-end development practices
-Strong understanding of functional and class-based development patterns
-Hands-on experience building/consuming Python REST APIs, specifically FastAPI
-Understanding of microservices architecture and containerized environments
-Familiarity with Server-Sent Events (SSE) for real-time communication
-Agile delivery experience
-Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across global teams/time zones (EST/IST and others)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Database / data platform exposure (e.g., Snowflake, DynamoDB, RDS, MySQL, MongoDB)
-Experience with web servers (e.g., Apache) and UI/UX collaboration
-AWS serverless deployment experience (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway)
-CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, Octopus)
-GenAI application development exposure (including RAG-based development)
-Additional front-end tooling familiarity (e.g., Node.js, HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
