Job Description
A mid sized pharmaceutical company based in Boston, is seeking a Clinical Business Analyst to support their Veeva Program spanning five key workstreams. This role will serve as a strategic partner to Clinical Operations stakeholders while driving requirements, mapping processes, and enabling successful deployment and optimization of Veeva Vault applications. The ideal consultant has hands on experience working within pharmaceutical clinical systems, particularly Veeva Vault eTMF and CTMS, and is comfortable operating in a proactive, fast moving environment.
Day to Day:
• Conduct deep dive analysis to understand current state clinical processes, workflows, and system interactions.
• Map future state business processes across Clinical Operations and related functions.
• Gather, validate, and translate business requirements into clear, actionable documentation for technical and implementation teams.
• Drive discussions that ensure alignment between cross functional stakeholders and technical teams.
• Support the execution of a multi workstream Veeva Vault implementation, spanning modules such as eTMF, CTMS, and future functional expansions.
• Identify gaps, propose solutions, and push forward decisions to keep workstreams on track.
• Collaborate closely with Veeva, internal SMEs, and program leadership to support system configuration, UAT, and deployment activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Clinical Operations leaders, providing transparency, guidance, and next step recommendations.
• Facilitate effective communication between business and IT/technical teams.
• Drive workshops, interviews, and working sessions to gather insights and promote adoption.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within pharma, biotech, or CRO environments, focused on clinical systems.
• Hands on experience with Veeva Vault, particularly eTMF and CTMS.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial operations, documentation processes, system workflows, and regulatory expectations.
• Demonstrated experience mapping current and future state processes for clinical organizations.
• Track record of working in fast paced environments requiring autonomy and proactive execution.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting large cross functional technology programs in pharma.
• Background working directly with Clinical Operations teams.
• Familiarity with Veeva Vault configuration or implementation methodologies.
