Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a detail‑oriented CAD Technician for one of our top semiconductor companies. This person will support the engineering and space‑planning teams for their facilities organization. In this role, you will assist with creating, updating, and managing technical drawings while maintaining an organized documentation library. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in AutoCAD 2025, adapting to evolving drafting standards, and supporting MEP and architectural documentation needs.
Key Responsibilities
Create, update, and revise CAD drawings for MEP and architectural projects.
Perform data entry related to space planning, ensuring accurate documentation of layouts, room data, and occupancy information.
Help maintain and manage the documentation library, ensuring version control, proper filing, and accessibility for project teams.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to incorporate feedback and drawing changes.
Ensure adherence to drafting standards, quality expectations, and project timelines.
Utilize Excel for data tracking, reporting, and organization of project information.
Pay ranges from 20-25/hr based on qualifications and years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2025 preferred) with the ability to independently make drawing updates and corrections.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to complete data entry and work with space‑planning information.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with MEP or architectural drafting.
- Exposure to Revit or willingness to learn as workflows evolve.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified User/Professional).
