Job Description
A global law firm with nearly 1,400 lawyers and more than 3,000 employees across 19 offices in the United States, Europe, and Asia is looking for a Power Platform Engineer to join their Intranet team. The role is a long-term contract with the potential to hire, and is hybrid remote (8x a month) near an office location near one of the following: Boston MA, Chicago IL, Denver CO, LA, Miami FL, NYC, Palo Alto CA, Reston VA, San Diego CA, San Francisco CA, Santa Monica CA, Seattle WA, Washington DC. The main function of this resource is to help build workflows from scratch in Power Apps and Power Automate across a variety of use cases. They will receive the requirements from the BA team and from there may need to clarify with the business directly, then build the workflow from scratch and iterate based on feedback and then fully deliver into production. Some of the initial use cases are around a partner offboarding tool and a client/attorney facing flow. We are looking for someone that can guide the team on what is possible and best practice within the Power Platform toolset based on their experiences building workflows. The team right now is around 4 resources but mostly all Sharepoint folks so this resource will be the Power Platform guru.
They will also be responsible for:
- Integrating solutions with Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Excel)
-Documenting solutions and hand off to internal teams following deployment
-Building workflows that handle approvals, notifications, document routing, and data intake
-Troubleshooting, optimizing, and refactoring existing Power Platform solutions as needed
Compensation:
$50/hr to $60/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5-8+ years experience as a hands-on engineer designing workflows in Power Apps and Power Automate
- background in regulated industry (Legal preferred, finance, banking, Healthcare, energy & utilities, telecom and defense & aerospace)
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, production-ready solutions leveraging Power Platform solutions
- familiar with Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Excel)
- workflow documentation experience
- Troubleshooting experience with Power Platform
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900); PL-100: Power Platform App Maker Associate; PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate; PL-400: Power Platform Developer Associate; PL-500: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate; PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
- Experience building AI-enabled workflows and agents using Copilot Studio, including prompts, actions, and integrations with M365 services is a plus
- Experience supporting document-centric workflows (intake, review, approval, retention, etc.)
