Job Description

A large retail & commercial bank is looking for a Procurement Associate to join their team in Mexico. The role can be fully REMOTE. The candidate must be bilingual in English/Spanish. The bank has close to $90B in assets, 9K employees and more than 2M customers along the east coast. In addition to providing excellent banking experiences for their customers, the bank also very involved in the community through charitable giving and philanthropy to give back to low/moderate income and underserved communities.

This role will help the Vendor Management, PMO, and Financial teams to support the increased volume of third party vendors SOWs and the increased BOW.

Will be responsible of expense requests and contracts status:
-Will be working with project managers to get all the information needed for the specific request
-Will submit Expense Requests in the system making sure all the documents and data is correct
-track budgets and triage solutions when there are issues
-Will be working with different teams such as Procurement, Contracts and Legal to have contracts signed on time
-He/She will be an expert on the team and source of reference for other members of the Products, Payments and Operations funding team.
- He/She will coordinate and build relationships with external teams and internal financial stewards to ensure a seamless funding process/service.
- Will work in Hiperos and ensure quality of SLAs submitted and new services set up
- Financial Acumen & Budget Tracking
- Tracking budgets, identifying discrepancies, and proposing solutions.

Compensation:
$15/hr to $24/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ year experience in procurement, vendor management, finance, or related role
- advanced experience in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, etc)
- background with the procurement process (handling Statements of Work (SOWs), expense requests, and contract lifecycle management)
- Prior exposure to contract negotiation and SLA oversight
- background with expense and funding processes
- high attention to detail and organized

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- banking
- SAP or Hiperos, Coupa, Oracle Cloud
- Certifications in procurement or vendor management (e.g., CPSM, PMP)
