Job Description

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the CT/X-Ray Manager, Supervisor, and Clinical Director, the CT Technologist is responsible for performing all technical procedures. This includes delivering safe and effective imaging, participating in departmental education and QA/QI programs, and collaborating closely with imaging professionals, nursing staff, and providers. The role supports the organizations mission to foster excellence and innovation in cancer care.

Responsibilities:
Adhere to departmental policies and HIPAA guidelines, foster communication and collaboration across teams.
Ensure patient, staff, and environmental safety; maintain infection control and radiation safety standards.
Meet all regulatory and accreditation requirements; participate in QA/QI initiatives.
Communicate compassionately and clearly with patients; assist with scheduling and EMR systems.
Perform high-quality CT scans; manage imaging protocols and datasets; administer contrast agents under supervision.
Maintain imaging equipment and perform quality control procedures.
Support onboarding and training of new technologists and other staff.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Haves:
Graduate of a hospital-based or accredited imaging technology program (Radiography or Nuclear Medicine).
12 years of CT experience.
Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (Radiography/CT).
Current ARRT (RT-R or RT-N) or CNMT certification.
Current BLS certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire).
