Job Description

Typical day starts with network triage and alarm assessments, completing cell site PMs, and resolving network outages

This is a ME position, Positions is for central / northern Maine in the New England Market, prefer the candidate to be located in the Waterville / Augusta/ Bangor area of Maine where the majority of cell sites will be located.

Required Skills & Experience

At least 3 years relevant experience required. Responsible for staying current in technical theory, application, and operational discipline. Takes on technical and project-related efforts, providing communication as directed. The Technician has a solid understanding of theory and application related to project management, radio access networks, backhaul to sites, signaling, disaster recovery planning and response, data services, and location-based services. The Technician has a basic understanding of theory and application related to network design, capacity planning, power systems AC/DC, and grounding.

Technology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc) Familiar with:
* Ericsson cell site hardware-BB6630, BB6648, BB6651.
* Ericsson 6102, 6160, B160 cabinets
* Cell site routing -- SAR-M SAS MXP, SAS
* Basic electrical with AC and DC power

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Ericsson and Nokia HW, Fiber, and Ethernet
