A major hospitality client of ours is looking to fill the role of a Remote Project Manager to join their team. With their recent growth and acquisitions, they are working to implement a large initiative project across multiple divisions. They are looking to bring on a PM to help assist the project managers in organizing the ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
To be successful as a project manager, the ideal candidate will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. They will need to be a hard worker, highly motivated self starter, solutions provider, and work both independently and with a team. This person will be on a year long contract between 40-50/hr. Some of the day to day responsibilities will include:
- Help create agendas and PowerPoints for executive leadership team biweekly meetings
- Support the director of the team on a day to day with meetings, effectively take notes, drive action items
- Work with Project Managers to drive conversations for key initiatives
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Weekly notes on IMO meeting, Re-set IMO status deck
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- -Ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Determining project changes.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
- Undertaking project tasks as required.
- Developing project strategies.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.

3-5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or related field
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
Hospitality experience (and if not, background in the technology side of business, Analytical, Legal, or Branding)
- Expereince with Asana
- Experience with acquisitions
- Technology background specifically with CRM and PMS
