Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Operating Room RN Manager for our client, a premier plastic surgery center in Newton, MA. This OR RN Manager will work alongside a globally acclaimed plastic surgeon renowned for his mastery of intricate facial procedures in a state-of-the-art facility. He/She will manage 4 full time employees and oversee per-diem nurses and surgical techs. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. This includes independently performing Post-Anesthesia Unit (PACU), Pre-Op and circulating care. Credentialling experience and a familiarity with JCO or QUAD A accreditation is required. This role is about 75% clinical and 25% management/administration.

Responsibilities:
Manage surgery and staffing schedules
Ensure compliance with all standards including AAAASF
Oversee periodic credentialing inspections
Enter data and complete paperwork
Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies, oversee inventory
Function as OR nurse, scrub tech and/or recovery nurse when necessary

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience as an RN
Experience working in a surgical environment
Strong credentialling experience (familiar with JCO and QUAD A)
Extensive Post-Anesthesia Unit (PACU), Pre-Op and Circulation experience
Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling and strong organizational capabilities
