A growing consumer technology client is seeking a talented Creative Director for a hybrid opportunity at their Boston Headquarters. This company has created a marketplace that's disrupting a trillion-dollar industry, with a website platform that is reaching tens of millions of consumers each month. This creative leader will have the opportunity to serve as an evangelist for this brand identity and voice, ensuring that creative across the company works to represent the company's brand in a unified and effective way.
This role will report directly to the CMO and lead a small design team. On a daily basis you will partner with UX design, Marketing, Product and Branding to evolve overall site branding where support is required to build specific elements of site experience. This role will also work closely with Product and sometimes even have the opportunity to roll up your sleeves and dive back in to design if needed. Along with your in-house creative team, we are also looking for someone passionate about building and mentoring a curated network of freelancers and small agencies, to meet the need of the organization. Responsibilities will also include concepting and directing high quality multimedia work for both consumers and dealers, including performance creatives, email templates, banner ads, digital videos, offline collateral, content marketing design assets, social media posts, landing pages, website design, and more. A successful person in this role will be highly organized, results oriented with experience setting up internal processes to receive, prioritize, and deliver on creative requests.

Required Skills & Experience
* 10+ years in a creative role, Visual design root, solid UX design and video production experience preferred
* 5+ experience managing design professionals, with the ability to identify, recruit and develop great talent
* Experience with and appreciation for rigorously testing & optimizing creative to deliver performance
* Background in the consumer technology space (in house or agency experience)
* An up to date portfolio showcasing design experience and the latest design trends/digital achievement

* In house tech/startup experience
