One of our large telecommunication clients is looking to hire a Project Manager III for the Engineering Development Team. This individual will be responsible for providing project management to leasing, zoning, permitting, regulatory compliance and construction process of wireless sites and/or site modification/upgrade projects. They will ensure high quality and timely delivery of development and construction project management related services, activities and support. The role is expected to contribute in the creation and implementation of key strategic and/or tactical activities to address business challenges and objectives. They will be responsible for executing on tasks assigned for managing small projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements and meet customer satisfaction in support of the engineering network including: general network development and modification activities; real estate, entitlement and construction. This role may also serve as a sub-project lead in larger-scale initiatives led by upper level Project Managers or above and receives mentoring and guidance from more experienced project managers.
-Minimum 5+ years of working in a telecommunication project management roe
-Experience working with high volume telecommunication vendors in relates to soft cost site development activities
-Ability to work with high volume workflows
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically in the use of Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
-Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all employee and management levels within the Enterprise
- Group facilitation, engagement, mediation and conflict resolution skills.
-Experience in developing and delivering presentations
- Awareness of general accounting/costing practices including budgeting, invoicing, purchase orders, and accounts payable
- Able to identify project impacting critical issues and challenges, able to work with more senior members of the Project Management team to develop and implement successful solutions
- Understanding of construction and wireless development process and familiarity with pre-construction milestones
-Ability to negotiate with and manage general contractors and/or vendors
- Understands construction drawings and redline process
