A large robotics client is looking for a CAD Technician to support their Westborough, MA facility (REMOTE to start, eventually hybrid). This person will be joining the Deployment Engineering Support team, which focuses on the use of robots to automate processes in their warehouses nation wide.
Each day will start with a team meeting where you will go through incoming tickets and get assigned accordingly based on specific sites across North America. The tasks include updating CAD designs and optimizing the layout of the fulfillment center, updating navigational maps for robots, and creating detailed drawings of material handling work areas, all using your experience with AutoCAD. These drawings will require a high level of detail in both plan views as well as corresponding elevation views. The drawings will need to satisfy the standardization of work spaces and designs across a large network and fulfillment centers. The ideal candidate will be a great team member, a self-starter and able to work with very little direction.
