Our top financial client is launching a program to build a product offering to support a new business opportunity. In support of this initiative, the Health Care Group (HCG) Technology team is looking to fill an exciting and complicated role on its development team.
As a Senior Java Backend Software Engineer, you will play a leadership role in envisioning, designing, and building the solution. You will be part of an Agile team working in a Scaled Agile environment expected to contribute to the technical leadership of the overall program, as well as the center of excellence within the HCG Technology team.
- 8+ years of Java backend development experience -- need version java 8+
- Experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Azure/AWS (Azure preferred)
- Exposure to messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ or Kafka for processing solutions
- Working knowledge of CICD tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Docker/Kuberentes -- for continous deployment
- Experience and understanding of the full software development lifecycle -- full end to end development
