Insight Global is sourcing for an Business Analyst to join an Executive Agency for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As the Business Analyst you will lead technical and complex projects towards Energy and Environmental studies. You will work closely with the Project Manager's and technical leads to support both the application, infrastructure and networking functions of complex software development projects. To be successful in this role you must understand workflows and systems, document current processes and systems, create documentation for new processes and obtain a strong technical acumen. Someone who is analytical, a problem solver and embodies a team environment will be successful in this role. - 4+ years in software development as a Business Analyst
- Prior experience working in a Waterfall and/or Agile environment
- Can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prepare user stories, process flows, BDRs, FRDs, Wireframes and data mapping documents
- Obtains prior experience with JIRA, SharePoint or MS Office Suite
