Summary:
The Finance Transformation team is looking for a detail oriented Project Manager to support the Program Manager on high-impact cross-functional projects for the International Compliance Accounting organization. In this role you will have the opportunity to support strategic programs key to the success of Meta Finance. You will work with a range of stakeholders be required to navigate ambiguous challenges and partner effectively to deliver change. You will help drive strong project governance diagnose problems draft and socialize solutions and deliver your recommendations.
The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan direct or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering research and development financial systems and product roll-out etc or any other non-IT based project.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate projects making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Present and explain proposals reports and findings to clients.
Analyze technology resource needs and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Confer with management and staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills problem solving skills attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time.
Strong knowledge of accounting processes.
Strong knowledge of computer software such as Google Docs Google Sheets Google Slides Asana etc.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field- flexibile
PMI or PMP certification preferred- just a nice to have accounting experience or ability to understand accounting terms is more important.
YEO- 5 years or flexible if they have about 4 YEO. We will prioritize profiles that are 4-7 YEO. This role does NOT need a senior CW who knows how to run projects end to end.
Ideal profile- stat financials or SCC experience is nice to have or understanding. Accounting background and can be very swift with noting project work/handle high meeting volumes/ and overall is more of a project admin support for the CWAM. They arent leading projects end to end but supporting and working with international teams to determine project action items that the CWAM then will work on.
