A large multinational company that specializes in identity technologies is looking to hire a QA tester II to their Bedford, MA location. They have openings for both Manual and Automation testing. These candidates will establish quality standards for products and processes and suggest modifications meant to prevent defects in components or final products. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product design, product management, and production, to identify and mitigate quality risks. Audits production processes, raw materials, or suppliers/vendors to ensure that established quality standards are met. Conducts root cause analysis for defects, non-conformities, or other quality failures. May be responsible for ensuring compliance with formal external quality standards, such as ISO 9001. Experience and Education: Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. The candidates must be comfortable going onsite as the position requires testing in the lab. For Manual testing, candidates must have BDD experience. For automation testing, they have an in-house blend of cucumber / selenium for testing.
- 3+ years software testing methodologies (agile / waterfall)
- Owning UAT from start to finish
- Strong experience in developing BDD and Gherkin test scripts (manual)
- Hardware testing experience (manual)
- Strong experience with cucumber or selenium (automation)
- Customer service oriented
- Complex SQL queries
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment with minimal oversite
ABILITY TO COME ONSITE AS NEEDED PER WEEK
- Jira / SQL for database testing
