An employer is seeking a Procure-to-Pay subject matter expert to lead opportunity portfolio management, metric development, and implementations across multiple workstreams in support of a P2P Transformation effort. This role requires a high level of collaboration across Global Procurement leadership, Finance Shared Services leadership, 3rd Party service providers, internal
Business Units and other business support functions with a significant focus on relationship management and a customer service oriented approach.
Responsibilities:
Drive the development, planning, and delivery of opportunities in assigned work streams for internal customers across different functional areas
Provide subject matter expertise across the internal customer groups and collaborate with other functional areas to evaluate and implement continuous improvement opportunities that drive a
future state operating model
Drive business process and operational assessments (process design and review) including documenting existing operations and processes, interviewing key staff, etc.
Research business process and operational best practices, measure key performance indicators, be aware of market and industry trends and other performance and cost drivers
Provide business process improvement assistance, including developing and implementing process improvement strategies based on transformation strategy and operational best practices to design "to be" strategies and approaches
Lead the requirements analysis and testing of analytics and implementations
Research and remain knowledgeable of industry leading technology solutions for P2P automation
Capturing process documentation and designing future state process
