Our team is partnering to build state of the art Conversational AI experience using latest technology modern product development and agile practices to create personalized experience for our customers
The role:
As a Senior Software Engineer you will be accountable for implementing software solutions as one the most senior engineers on a 4-6 person scrum team
You and your team will be part of larger Conversational AI experience initiative primarily building reusable Conversational Skills and feedback loop driven by analytics and insights.
You will interface with Managers Lead Software Engineers Data Scientists and your Peers to understand priorities and technical strategy
You will contribute to the products more complex components and focus on building quality software
Code quality will be one of your core areas of focus - ensuring your teams user stories are effectively tested peer reviewed and well documented
You will act as an individual contributor while providing influence over your scrum team. You will influence the system and become a key part of the processes that deliver it
You will be contributing to team productivity by collaborating and coaching Software Engineers as needed
You will embrace learning modern technologies and their place within our tech stack. You will work to ensure new tech is brought forward to the team to solve problems creatively.

Required Qualifications:
4 years full stack development from deployment ops and database technologies through to front-end frameworks
2 years of experience in one of the programming languages Java Spring framework Python Node JS or C#
2 years of experience working with DevOps tools like Jenkins GitHub Docker Kubernetes
Knowledge of one or more of Conversation AI-driven stacks like RASA Azure bots Live Person NLP NLG and/or a demonstrated interest in data science artificial intelligence
Experience working with Agile Scrum and modern engineering practices like maintaining single product backlog enabling true CI/CD collaborating to build self-sufficient teams
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years experience with Streaming and messaging applications like Kafka StreamSets or RabbitMQ
Experience with system development/maintenance in the Public Cloud Azure a bonus!
Experience building highly available applications and implementing resiliency patterns
Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Splunk Kibana Elastic Logstash Dynatrace
Knowledge of microservices APIs and gateways
Knowledge of Relational and NoSQL Data Stores
Front End Technology experience with tools like ReactJS/Angular
