A fortune 7 healthcare company is seeking a talented Experience Designer to join their team in a fully remote role. As a hybrid UX/UI Experience Designer on the digital UX team, you will be responsible for leading the design and research on initiatives that improve and provide healthcare access to patients. We are looking for a well-rounded UX/UI Designer for this role that can solve complex business challenges with occasional direct support from their manager. This specific opening requires a candidate with a slight strategic design focus/preference, while still having a strong understanding of the visual components/execution of digital design. This team specifically will be working with the company's healthcare website/application relating to the homepage and other convenience functions. This work will be done both on the web application and mobile (ios and android) applications. This person will be joining a team of 3 other UX Designers, 1 UX Lead, 1 UX Manager, 1 Content Strategist, 1 Accessibility Designer, and some additional support staff, so this individual will be mainly responsible for the strategic/UX/interaction design piece of the project, and various visual components (working off of a provided UI kit/design system). This role is more about identifying a go-getter who is a pleasure to work with both internally and with vendors externally than it is about years of experience. * 5-7+ years of experience within UX/UI/Product Design
* This is a hybrid role with a visual focus while still requiring strong understanding of strategy/user flow process
* Percentage breakdown: ~70% UX/30% UI (heavily UX/strategic role, however this person still needs the ability to execute their design ideas visually)
* Someone who can drive the story they are working with our partners; lead design process; communication
* Must be located on Eastern time zone
* OR have solid experience working remotely on EST/ET & open to working primarily EST hours
* Well versed in Figma (tool)
* Familiar with Agile/scrum agile ceremonies or experience working in an enterprise Agile environment
* Sharp presentation/communication skills
o Looking for someone who can drive the story they are working with multiple cross-functional business partners
o Will be responsible for helping lead the design process
* Portfolio of work including examples of mobile web, desktop and app experiences
* Solid backgrounds in and samples of strategy work are key
* Good understanding of user-centered design philosophy and process
* Hands on experience with wireframing, prototyping, and detailed design tools
* Bachelor's Degree
* Knowledge designing applications for both iOS and Android
* Strong knowledge of material design and native patterns
