The Cyber Security Engineer will be a key member of a fast-paced SecOps development team, creating automated security products and services to be consumed by application development teams across the enterprise. The Cyber Security Engineer Senior Principal full stack engineer would focus on security tools such as AWS GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, Trend Micro, and Tenable/Nessus to deliver security solutions AND / OR Azure related security tools (I.E Defender).
The Cyber Security Engineer Senior Principal candidate will be required to possess:
Must have greater or equal to 8 years of experience delivering DevSecOps in cloud-based environments AWS (preferred) and/or Azure/MAG, Google Cloud
Must have at least 3 years or greater of complex python scripting and automation experience and/or Ruby and Go scripting
* Lead complex security projects (from design through implementation and maintenance) that identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities within a cloud-based environment
Deliver security solutions using site reliability engineering (SRE) concepts
Self-motivated to lead or support the resolution of complex questions and issues
Utilize creativity and innovation to automate and streamline processes and procedures
Experience working in an Agile development environment Understanding of CI/CD
Participant in infrastructure security audits
Collaborate proactively in a team setting
* Value attention to detail and customer outcomes Experience working in a service and product centered environment such as SaaS/PaaS/IaaS
Learn new skills, new client environments, new tools and new domain expertise quickly and eagerly
Addresses and resolves complex incidents/requests, which may be escalated via customer support requests
Work extremely well with peers to build strong relationships with delivery and customer teams by working across organizational boundaries to resolve customer request
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Education substitution available in lieu of bachelors degree pending review and customer approval)
Minimum of 8-years of overall professional experience
At least 5-years in of Cybersecurity experience
At least 5-year experience using Agile scrum
At least 5-year experience performing software configuration management functions
Have Resided in the US at least 3 of the last 5 years
Be a US Citizen
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
