An employer is looking for a Lead Software Developer to join their growing team. This person will serve as a liaison between management and the development team. This includes sitting on on development strategy meetings for multiple projects, providing input on design decisions, and then disseminating that information to the developers and owning the software development space. Along with others, they will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and debugging of new and existing software, as well as coding and debugging engineering/scientific or business management applications by performing the following duties.
This role is remote and will require roughly 10% within the US and Canada.
10+ years of experience supporting and developing software
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related degree, from accredited university
Previous Lead or management experience (leading development staff)
Very strong C# and .NET experience
Very strong experience developing in an Azure environment
SQL development - including views, triggers, stored procedures, functions, etc. Knowledge of modern SQL based database management systems
Web app experience, micro-services exp. along with API development exposure
Multi-threading experience
Experience on multiple projects and in different environments to be able to ask the right questions to vendors as they go through the SDLC (Agile Framework)
Strong technical aptitude and exposure to open web steel, light gauge steel or wood joist/truss engineering and design functions
Exposure to custom product and solutions manufacturing
Structural or Civil Engineering background
Exposure to Versant database environments
Scrum certifications
