Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized Secret Master Scheduler to support program leadership in planning, coordinating, and tracking execution across a complex technical program. This role is location in Aberdeen, MD and this person will serve as the central point for schedule management, ensuring program activities, milestones, dependencies, and customer commitments remain aligned and on track.

The ideal candidate has experience managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), coordinating across functional teams, identifying schedule risks, and providing leadership with clear visibility into program performance. This individual must be comfortable working with program managers, engineers, customers, and government stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to support program execution and customer commitments.
Coordinate schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Track customer requirements, action items, risks, and key program commitments to ensure on-time completion.
Analyze schedule performance, identify critical path activities, and highlight potential schedule impacts or delays.
Support program leadership with forecasting, schedule planning, and resource coordination activities.
Build and maintain schedule dashboards, metrics, and leadership reports that provide visibility into program health and execution status.
Monitor progress against program milestones and proactively drive follow-up actions to keep the program on track.
Conduct schedule reviews and ensure activities are aligned with project objectives, customer requirements, and contractual obligations.
Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes, workflow efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
Brief schedule status, risks, and recovery plans to leadership, customers, and other stakeholders as required.
Collaborate closely with program management, engineering, operations, contracts, and finance teams to support successful program execution.
Support scenario planning, schedule risk assessments, and impact analysis for changing program priorities.

30/hr to $60/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related technical field
•Active Secret -> can cage higher
•Minimum 5 years of experience as a scheduler
• MS Project Experience
•Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects and initiatives across multiple teams
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently develop practical solutions
• PMP Certification or CAPM
•Ability to clearly convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
•Proven ability to build working relationships across organizations and influence outcomes in collaborative environments
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
