Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Building Engineer to support a high-volume commercial property with ongoing maintenance and operations. This role is highly hands-on and requires a proactive individual who thrives in an environment where there is always something to fix, improve, or maintain. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, responsive, and customer-focused, ensuring tenant issues are resolved quickly while maintaining the overall integrity of the building. Day-to-Day:
• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and building upkeep
• Respond to tenant service requests quickly and professionally
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
• Perform property walkthroughs to identify issues (lights, leaks, etc.)
• Handle basic repairs (lighting, plumbing fixtures, etc.)
• Assist with safety compliance and system checks (fire panels, generators)
Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical)
• Experience in high-volume environments (constant maintenance activity, little downtime)
• Strong customer service / tenant-facing experience
• CFC license required
• Experience working in commercial or large-scale properties
Ability to handle on-call rotation (every 7 weeks)
