Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on BI professional who can quickly integrate into an established team and independently develop enterprise reporting solutions. This individual should be comfortable working with large data sets, identifying and connecting data sources, building scalable data models, and creating meaningful visualizations that support operational and business decision-making. Experience working within Army or DoD data environments is highly valued.

Day to Day:
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions
• Transform data from multiple enterprise systems into meaningful visualizations and reporting products
• Develop and maintain data models, relationships, and DAX calculations to support reporting requirements
• Identify, connect, and validate data sources to ensure accurate and reliable reporting
• Create intuitive visualizations that support operational, business, and program-level decision making
• Support the full reporting lifecycle including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and technical leads to implement reporting enhancements and continuous improvements
• Develop technical documentation, reporting standards, and reference materials
• Support user acceptance testing and troubleshooting efforts
• Contribute to broader Microsoft Power Platform initiatives, including Power Apps and automation solutions, as needed

Compensation:
$55hr to $65hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Required Skills & Experience

• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
• 5+ years of experience developing business intelligence, analytics, or data visualization solutions.
• Strong experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Experience developing complex DAX measures, calculations, and reporting logic.
• Experience transforming, modeling, and visualizing data from multiple enterprise data sources.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, relationships, and reporting architecture.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical reporting solutions.
• Experience validating data quality and supporting testing activities.
• Ability to work independently within an established development team and contribute immediately to ongoing efforts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting Army, DoD, or Federal Government programs.
• Experience working within Army 365 (A365) environments.
• Experience using or integrating data from Army enterprise repositories and reporting platforms.
• Experience with Army data environments such as Vantage, Army Vantage, or similar enterprise analytics platforms.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow data into reporting or dashboard solutions.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, or other Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
• Experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience utilizing Python for data analysis, automation, or reporting support.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Qlik, or other enterprise visualization platforms.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Microsoft Power Platform or related Computing Environment (CE) certifications.
