Job Description

A leading facilities services company is looking to add an experienced Azure Architect to its team in Bogotá, Colombia. This individual will be responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise-level Azure architecture across the North America (NorAm) region, ensuring alignment with global standards and business goals.

This role is highly collaborative and strategic—working closely with other architects and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative cloud solutions. The architect will act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial scoping and design through approvals, handoff, and ongoing support.

This is not a role tied to one specific project—instead, the architect will support multiple initiatives simultaneously (typically 3–5 at a time), shifting priorities as new requests come in and ensuring consistent delivery across all efforts.

The role also includes leading technical discussions, running workshops, creating design documentation, and troubleshooting escalated (Level 3) issues when needed. While the position is not hands-on with deployments, the architect will regularly access Azure environments for troubleshooting, log reviews, and validation.

The team operates in a Scrum environment, and the architect will participate in sprint ceremonies, provide updates in DevOps boards, and help drive overall delivery and alignment.

Strong communication, team fit, and soft skills are key, as top candidates will go through a final interview focused on collaboration and cultural alignment.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters.
