Insight Global is looking for someone who thrives outside the lab and enjoys bringing emerging technology into real-world environments to join our growing team in Aberdeen, MD.
In this role, you’ll support the planning and execution of field exercises to evaluate electronic warfare (EW) and cyber solutions in operational settings. You’ll work closely with both technical teams and government stakeholders to ensure systems perform as expected when it matters most.
This is a highly hands-on role where you’ll help prepare for and run field events, coordinate across teams, and bridge the gap between engineers and end users.
Key Responsibilities:
-Support planning and execution of field tests and mission-driven exercises
-Partner with engineering and government teams to translate requirements into test scenarios
-Set up and configure equipment, test environments, and field sites
-Capture results, observations, and feedback to inform future development
-Act as a liaison between technical teams, operators, and leadership during exercises
-Travel to field events, demonstrations, and industry engagements as needed
$54hr to $74hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
·5+ years of experience with military operational planning
· Direct experience supporting EW or cyber missions or development activities
· Experience with the spectrum management and frequency request process for EW training and operations
· Experience developing EW or cyber scenarios, or Master Scenario Event Lists (MSELs) for DoD exercises
· Experience managing field or exercise logistics
· Experience with tactical communication network
· Experience writing test user stories or test objectives
· Knowledge of radio communication protocols
· Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) propagation, amplifiers, and antennas
· Knowledge of UAS and CUAS operations such as TTPs and fielded solutions
· Ability to coordinate with DoD entities, and collect upcoming or ongoing requirements from the force and translate that to the client
· Ability to travel minimum 25% of the time
·Minimum Active Secret Clearence with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
·Experience with military operational planning at the Brigade or Division level
· Experience automating test execution of software and hardware subsystems
· Experience developing EW or cyber scenarios, or Master Scenario Event Lists (MSELs) for DoD exercises
· Experience managing field or exercise logistics
· Experience with tactical communication networks
· Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
·Active TS/SCI clearance
