Job Description

The Industrial Engineer will serve as a highly autonomous technical leader within Intralox's manufacturing operations, responsible for designing, improving, and scaling production systems. This role is heavily project-based and focuses on materials flow, finished goods storage optimization, production line design, and capacity expansion across complex manufacturing environments.

This individual will be expected to identify problems independently, lead projects end-to-end, and help elevate the overall maturity and self-sufficiency of the Industrial Engineering function. They will partner closely with Operations, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, and Plant leadership to implement sustainable, data-driven improvements that increase throughput, reliability, and scalability.

$130,000 to $150,000 per year annual salary.

Required Skills & Experience

8-10 years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline
Proven experience leading complex projects independently
Deep understanding of:
Materials flow and materials management systems
Manufacturing/Assembly operations and support
Finished goods storage optimization
Production line design and layout
Ergonomic/Safety assessments and improvements
Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
5S workspace design and implementation
Hands-on experience with:
Time studies & work measurement
Production waste identification and resolution
Capacity and throughput analysis
High proficiency with:
AutoCAD (SolidWorks, BricsCAD, etc.)
2D layout design
Excel
Comfortable working directly on the production floor in an active manufacturing environment
Natural technical leader who can influence without formal authority

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience helping build or transform an Industrial Engineering function
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and materials planning tools
Knowledge of ergonomic analysis and workstation design
Six Sigma or Lean certification (Green/Black Belt)
Experience supporting automation or higher-volume production scaling
