Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Scheduling Manager for a top heavy civil and industrial construction client. This role involves implementing established project controls policies and procedures while leading project scheduling efforts across assigned area or mega civil construction projects. The Scheduling Manager will support the development of bid schedules and baseline schedules, oversee ongoing schedule maintenance, and partner closely with project managers, engineers, superintendents, and estimating teams. Additionally, this individual will assist with Time Impact Analysis (TIA), mitigation and recovery analysis, and claims support to identify risks, develop solutions, and ensure project schedules are accurate, optimized, and aligned with execution plans. This role offers the opportunity to lead teams, influence major infrastructure projects, and support complex work with tight schedules and high visibility.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of scheduling / project controls experience in Heavy Civil construction
- Experience supporting mega-projects or large civil infrastructure programs ($200+)
- Advanced Primavera P6 expertise
- Experience leading Bid Schedules, Baseline Schedules, and Schedule Maintenance
- Proven leadership experience managing scheduling or project controls teams
- Strong knowledge of construction means & methods and industry scheduling standards
- Experience with Time Impact Analysis, Mitigation/Recovery Analysis, and Billing & Claims support
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects in fast‑paced environments
- Personable, well-spoken, collaborative communicator capable of working effectively with field teams, leadership, and external stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Intermediate Power BI experience (dashboards, reporting)
- Revenue- and cost-loaded schedule experience
- Cash flow risk identification experience
- Owner-facing schedule review and comment resolution experience
- Experience building executive dashboards and risk matrices
- Experience with 4D scheduling / 4D construction models (schedule‑to‑model integration)
