Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Welder / Fabricator for a top manufacturing and electrical solutions client. This individual will support fabrication and production operations by interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating welding equipment, and performing high-quality welds on a variety of materials. Required Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints and tape measures
• Experience welding steel, aluminum, copper, and other materials
• Ability to properly operate welding equipment
• Skilled with cutting torches and manual plasma cutters
• Experience using grinders, buffers, brushes, pads, overhead cranes, and rubber hammers
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment
• Willingness and ability to wear required PPE
• Trained in or able to follow SOPs and work instructions

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Multi-position welding experience
• Experience inspecting and repairing welds
• Fabrication or manufacturing environment background
• Experience working from detailed layouts and job specifications
