Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Manager for a top manufacturing client in the electrical solutions industry. This individual will lead site-level quality initiatives, supervise a team of quality technicians, and drive best-in-class quality systems aligned with ISO standards. The role partners closely with plant leadership to reduce variability, improve processes, and deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on quality leader who enjoys coaching teams, building robust QMS frameworks, and making a visible impact in a manufacturing environment.

Supervise and lead a team of quality technicians
Serve as site quality leader and champion nVent quality processes
Establish, improve, and sustain quality systems and documentation
Align quality objectives with site, segment, and enterprise goals
Own quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting forums
Drive continuous improvement to reduce variability and operating costs
Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve product and process quality
Act as custodian of company quality standards and compliance
Partner with local leadership to embed quality into daily operations

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field or relevant work experience
3+ years of experience in quality roles within manufacturing
2+ years of people management or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Hands-on experience with ISO 9001:2015 implementation and maintenance
Proven root cause analysis and corrective action experience (8D, PDCA, RCCM)
Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coaching skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Lead Auditor certification
Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018
Experience building or modernizing quality documentation systems
Digital literacy in ERP systems and data/reporting tools (Snowflake, Intelex, Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience developing and evolving quality metrics and dashboards
