Job Description
Our client is looking for a Physical Security Program Manager to sit hybrid in Windsor Mill, MD. Responsibilities will include:
Program & Contract Management
Lead and manage physical security programs across one or more federal agencies, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and performance objectives are met.
Serve as the primary interface between federal customers, internal teams, and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with federal regulations, agency‑specific security policies, and contract requirements.
Track deliverables, milestones, and KPIs; provide regular program status updates and reporting to stakeholders.
Technical Oversight
Oversee installation, maintenance, and sustainment of physical security systems including:
CCTV / Video Surveillance Systems
Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS)
Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
Card Readers and credentialing technologies
Review system designs, installation plans, and maintenance strategies to ensure alignment with federal standards and best practices.
Support troubleshooting, system upgrades, and modernization efforts across customer environments.
Team Leadership & Resource Management
Manage and coordinate installation and maintenance technicians, including scheduling, workload balancing, and performance oversight.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field teams.
Ensure technicians are trained, certified, and compliant with federal site access and safety requirements.
Coordinate staffing needs, onboarding, and resource allocation across multiple sites and customers.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with federal customers, security officers, facility managers, and contracting representatives.
Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and program reviews.
Address customer concerns and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and high levels of satisfaction.
Quality, Risk & Compliance
Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and security compliance requirements.
Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Support audits, inspections, and assessments conducted by federal agencies or third parties.
Maintain accurate documentation, system records, and compliance artifacts.
Salary ranges from $130-165,000 based on experience

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Security Management, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in physical security program or project management within the federal space.
Demonstrated experience managing installation and maintenance technicians.
Strong working knowledge of:
CCTV and video management systems
Access Control and card reader technologies
Intrusion Detection Systems
Experience supporting multiple federal customers or contracts simultaneously.
Familiarity with federal security environments, procedures, and compliance expectations.
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
PMP Certification
