Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to provide hands-on production support engineering for manufacturing operations, serving as a key technical resource for troubleshooting issues across ARP and related manufacturing systems. You will take full ownership of problems raised by the operations team by investigating root causes, implementing short-term fixes, and driving long-term, sustainable solutions. Day to day, you will develop, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing processes, create and update standard work packages for all products built, and help control and document change processes. You will collaborate closely with Operations, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams while supporting large-scale manufacturing systems such as sorters and conveyor belts. This role involves time split between the production environment and CAD/design work, analyzing performance and production data to identify trends, anticipate issues, and support ongoing changes as manufacturing capacity, equipment, and product lines evolve.
Compensation: $75,000 to $90,000 per year annual salary.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Support Engineer, Process Engineer, or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, electrical, etc.)
- Soft skills are critical to this person's success (Organized, proactive, verbal and written communication skills)
- Problem-solving mindset with a data-driven approach
- Strong 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing capabilities
- Manufacturing industry background
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma knowledge or certifications
- Torque tooling experience (can be trained but ramp-up is longer)
- Testing or test engineering experience
- Statistics or data analysis background
- Exposure to large-scale or automated manufacturing systems
