Job Description
o A client of Insight Global is looking for a TS/SCI Radar Countermeasures Engineer to sit onsite in Aberdeen, MD. This individual will be responsible for performing hands on radar analysis and experimentation, working directly with radar systems and radar data to assess performance, vulnerabilities, and capabilities. Apply RF signal processing techniques to develop, analyze, and evaluate counter radar waveforms and electronic effects, often working at the raw IQ data level. Day to day, using MATLAB to develop and modify code for signal processing, interface with laboratory hardware, and analyze test data from closed loop, cable connected RF hardware evaluations. Planning and executing controlled lab experiments, document results, and prepare clear technical briefings and reports to communicate findings to technical and government stakeholders. This role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams and a strong understanding of radar architectures, waveforms (including SAR), and electronic countermeasure concepts to support mission driven research and development activities.
$45/hr to $62/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
o 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA
Degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
o TS/SCI
o Design knowledge and experience in the areas of RF (radar preferred) signal processing
o Knowledge of radar architectures, capabilities, and waveforms (SAR preferred), experience with Electronic Attack (EA)
o RF countermeasure experience (radar preferred)
o RF closed loop HW evaluations (working with cable connected RF / Effects at raw IQ level)
