Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Secret RF Test and Power Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement test methods and equipment to support RF and digital hardware, including troubleshooting and yield improvement efforts. Responsibilities include analyzing test data, identifying trends and yield detractors, defining improvements to test processes and equipment, and collaborating with design engineering on hardware solutions. The role also involves supporting technicians through training and troubleshooting, monitoring program yield targets, and participating in program meetings to report issues and drive root cause and corrective actions. Candidates should have a working knowledge of RF theory, power concepts, and digital circuit design; strong analytical and communication skills; proficiency with MS Office; and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation: $45/hr. -- 49/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related STEM field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Active Secret clearance
• Experience reading and interpreting specifications, schematics and block diagrams
• Experience with RF hardware and software
• Experience with RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline
• Experience with FPGA
• Experience with Lab Windows CVI, C / C++ programming
• Test Stand programming
• Experience with digital, analog, RF test equipment, RF theory and high-speed digital.
• Experience with differential digital interfaces like LVDS
• PXI/PXIe and VME bus experience
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical hardware
