Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to support mission critical communications for government and public safety clients in Washington, DC. This fully onsite role is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, managing inventory accuracy, and handling non-conforming items using established procedures. The Warehouse Manager will lead warehouse staff, coordinate with cross functional teams and use operational data to identify efficiency improvements. When not supporting inventory operations, this individual will assist with basic technical tasks related to radio equipment. Responsibilities include following established instructions and procedures to connect radios to a computer using designated cables, perform basic system checks, and support radio programming activities. While a formal IT background is not required, candidates with experience in electronics, PCB familiarity, radio systems, or a military background are strongly preferred, as this will support quick learning and success in the role’s dynamic day to day responsibilities. Candidates must be comfortable working independently within existing processes and able to pass U.S. government financial and criminal background checks.

Compensation:
$27hr to $37hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience

• Associate’s degree, technical certificate, or equivalent military training with a high school diploma.
• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse management role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Experience with asset management and inventory control procedures.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, applications, and troubleshooting for assigned technologies.
• Understanding of quality control protocols and non-conforming material handling.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment; current or previous forklift certification required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ability to update information in spreadsheets and proprietary systems.
• Eligibility to obtain U.S. DHS Public Trust clearance and pass financial/criminal background checks.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Prior DHS Public Trust clearance or higher DoD clearance (Secret, Top Secret, or SCI)
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
• Military service or formal military training
• Experience with or working knowledge of radio communications technology and related products
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, and troubleshooting for assigned technologies
• Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to provide PC/help desk support, familiarity with test equipment, and a foundational understanding of networking concepts and protocols
