Pay Rate

$80k - $100k (estimate)

Job Description

Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation for Integrated systems and equipment software systems, including Software Requirements Specification, Requirements Traceability Matrix, Software Master Test Plan, Software configuration Management plans and others.
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to verify software functionality and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Collaborate with development engineers and program managers to gather and clarify technical information.
Review and analyze source code and software designs to ensure documentation accurately reflects system behavior and architecture.
Support software changes and compliance reviews through well-prepared documentation packages.
Maintain configuration control of all technical documents and test artifacts.
Provide cross-team support by identifying gaps in documentation and suggesting improvements.


Salary ranges from $50-101,000 based on experience

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
-3+ years of embedded software development, electrical engineering, or engineering experience
-Ability to read and interpret code in at least one programming language (C, C++, Java, Python)
-Strong organizational and communication skills
-Experience working with software development lifecycle, version control systems, and defect tracking tools
-Familiarity with DoD or government documentation standards (MIL-STD, IEEE)
