Job Description

Responsible for all phases of Surgical Supply Chain Distribution activities including, inventory control, case cart preparation and supply distribution. Monitors and maintains surgical unit supply and patient equipment par levels to ensure that the evolving needs of staff and patients are met.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Prepare daily case carts for surgical areas and assist with breakdown in decontamination.
2. Report supply/equipment shortages, process returns and requisitions and maintain accurate inventory levels.
3. Check sterilization dates, rotate stock, and remove expired supplies per procedure.
4. Monitor usage patterns, recommend standardization, and manage assigned inventory and consignment items; coordinate loaner equipment as needed.
5. Assist with emptying washers, sterilization racks, and cleaning case carts through cart washers; put away trays by service line.

Required Skills & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6 months experience
• Experience using SPM or similar tool

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Endoscopy experience
• CRCST / CSPDT / CIS
