Job Description
We are looking for an Electronic Security Installation Technician to join the team immediately. This is supporting a project at Fort Detrick for at a minimum of a year, and then you will be moved to another project in the DMV area. This is supporting a government customer, and does NOT require a security clearance to start - but you will be processed for a Public Trust and then up to a Top Secret level after starting.
- Day to Day:
o Install Electronic Security Systems (ESS) and infrastructure in accordance with the national electric code, to include, but not limited to, access controls, intrusion detection, and camera systems. Specific systems include, but not limited to: Lenel Onguard, DMP, Milestone, and ICIDS
o Assists with security system programming and setup.
o Conducts testing to ensure proper operation of equipment after installation or repairs
o Conducts testing of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.
o Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6-2:30

Required Skills & Experience
o Ability to get a US Government clearance
o 3-5 years of experience in electronic security installation of access control, intrusion and CCTV for federal buildings
o Experience with CCURE 9000 and Bosch or American Dynamics
Lenel, Hirsch, Genetec are all transferrable
o HS diploma
Clean MVR
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
CCURE 9000 Certification or any other manufacturer certification
