Job Description

An employer is looking for a Mission Assurance Analyst to sit at Fort Meade. This candidate will be joining a team of three who will be conducting analysis for current and new operational assets in the environment are up to policy and compliance standards. They will be developing new processes , capabilities, new techniques for the Critical Asset Risk Management (CARM) programs and Mission Assurance (MA) activities. This individual will be responsible for the review and analysis of Mission Assurance related programs, validating task critical assets, and defense critical assets by providing subject matter expertise with recommendations to accept, mitigate, or remediate strategic risks.
This person must be comfortable thinking out side of the box and coming up with solutions on the fly. They will be constantly updating systems based on the analysis and briefing senior stakeholders of their findings.

Compensation:
$65/hr to $72/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Active TSSCI Clearance
IATevel II
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8 years combined education and experience; additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
Experience with Mission decomposition like hierarchical mission breakdown, identify critical function or components, trace dependencies, iterative refinement to protect critical infrastructure and missions.
Relevant experience in a Mission Assurance related discipline; candidate is able to articulate identification, mitigation and communication of Mission Assurance status and Risk to Mission Success.
Conduct pre-assessment work including data gathering, research, and coordination.
Use of various automated tools, databases, and software programs (MADSS, SMADS, FADE and MARMS) to support assessment activities, prepare observations and recommendations for leadership and staff.
Ability to translate data into a cohesive narrative and strong visualization that supports actionable recommendations.
Understanding of threats against DOD critical infrastructure.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

8 years’ combined experience supporting a service cyber component, combatant command, agency or field activity, DoD Senior Leadership, the Joint Staff, or Special Operations.
Critical Infrastructure protection experience (Physical, cyber, systems, assets and personnel).
Data Science Experience
Networking Experience
Ability to read network topology diagrams
Experience with technical and/or military writing
