Job Description

Day to day:
Role Summary:

• Lead and manage hydrology & hydraulics (H&H) projects, including flood modeling, stormwater design, and dam safety inspections.
• Design and analyze water resource systems: stream restorations, shoreline/coastal resilience, sediment transport, and AMD remediation.
• Conduct watershed assessments, wetland/waterway permitting, and water quality investigations.
• Support business development and client engagement efforts.
• Assist with grant applications and project funding strategies.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
• Ensure safety compliance and participate in pre-task planning.
• Deliver high-quality technical work and proposals; lead quality control efforts.
• Independently manage project phases and mentor junior staff.
• Perform complex environmental analyses and prepare technical reports.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate field activities.
• Collaborate with senior project managers and serve as team lead on mid-sized projects.

Required Skills & Experience

Must haves:
• Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related degree.
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience.
• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering preferred.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
