Responsibilities:
Design build position – must be able to walk customer sites and design solutions identifying all necessary parts and pieces and write a scope of work from scratch.
Evaluate and analyze project costs, ensuring all estimates are detailed and accurate.
Leverage knowledge of security systems (e.g., surveillance, access control) to optimize cost estimates and strategies.
Understand market trends and industry pricing to highlight competitive advantages in bidding.
Collect and analyze quotes for materials, equipment, and labor; resolve discrepancies in costs.
Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure the project scope aligns with estimates.
Regularly update and refine estimating procedures to maintain efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
Strong familiarity with blueprints and security system designs; ability to interpret complex plans.
3+ years of experience in estimating for security systems, including video surveillance, intrusion detection, and access control. Prefer prior security field technician experience.
Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively advocate for our solutions during the bidding process.
Detail-oriented, with a track record of delivering precise and reliable cost estimates under tight deadlines.
