Job Description

A healthcare client is seeking a Senior Accountant responsible for providing financial support to its Care Centers, including the month end close process and posting of transactions and balance sheet reconciliations, to create the base level of accuracy in the care centers financial statements. This position also provides financial support for its assigned centers to the Corporate Accounting Team (including Centralized AP) and other internal stakeholders, and may assist with integrations and other special projects, as assigned. They will be the main points of contact for the physician groups, fielding questions, handling regular accounting functions, monitoring cash and maintaining ownership of each care centers individual finances.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Accounting
3+ years of Senior Accountant Experience in healthcare field
Expert proficiency in QuickBooks
Experience building, managing, owning, & presenting financial statements
Presenting financial statements to physicians
Experience working with 10+ entities at a time
Experience in process improvement & month end to close
Strong communication skills
Ability to field questions from physician groups
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects and priorities, and maintain high performance levels in challenging or fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Extensive healthcare related accounting experience
Experience providing training and supervision support to new staff accountants
