IT Data Analyst

Insight Global is hiring a IT Data Analyst to support enterprise systems in Columbia, MD. This full-time, onsite role (5 days/week) focuses on the evaluation, development, and maintenance of key business applications that drive operational efficiency and data-informed decision-making. The Analyst will partner with cross-functional business teams to define requirements, conduct impact analyses, and support the full software development life cycle (SDLC)from implementation through project completion. Responsibilities include designing and delivering reporting solutions across multiple data sources, performing complex data analysis, and troubleshooting system, application, and connectivity issues. The candidate will also contribute to data visualization strategies and ensure business continuity across systems, while supporting compliance protocols such as Sarbanes-Oxley.

In addition, the Analyst will assist with technical documentation, deliver user training for new systems and updates, support audit requests, and participate in the evaluation of BI tools and strategies for broader data consumption. Familiarity with SQL, SSRS, Yardi Voyager, and data modeling is preferred. Strong communication skills, business acumen, and attention to detail are key for success in this role.

- Bachelors Degree
- 2 years of experience in business and information systems, including hands-on ERP application and project implementation
- Proficiency in SQL and SQL Server RDBMS for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Yardi Spreadsheet Reporting, Dev Express, or Power BI
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Visio
- Experience in Customer Service/Support

- Project Management training or certification Shows ability to lead initiatives and manage timelines effectively
- Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar ERP systems
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Prior experience in real estate sectors
- Experience with advanced reporting tools Like Power BI or Dev Express
