Job Description

The Lead Business Analyst will coordinate and oversee the work of other BAs as it relates to a specific project. The Lead BA must be able to work on and oversee complex projects that are traced through inter-related systems and involve stakeholders across different departments to reach a final solution. The BA will also build relationships with stakeholders, become an expert in the business domain and system, mentor junior business analysts, and assist stakeholders in diagnosing problems and understanding needs.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years of experience supporting IT or software development team
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
- Strong knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.
- Strong knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
- Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories.
- Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Business Analyst Certs such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, ECBA, CAP, AAC, IQBBA
- Team lead/leadership experience
