Must have the ability to read and understand installation guides, wiring drawings, system requirements and site-specific installation policies/procedures.
Must have excellent analytical skills in troubleshooting IT hardware installation, application setup, and maintenance, testing capabilities, problem identification, and/or resolution.
Must understand how to configure IT hardware, and/or be able to communicate with engineering for directives on newer systems configuration.
Must have competencies in testing/verifying proper operation of all hardware installations with direction from the engineering staff or IT administration.

Required-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate very well with users, peers and managers.
Knowledge of IT Hardware systems and their configurations
Experience troubleshooting IT Hardware systems.
3+ years progressive experience in hardware installations or as a Tier II Customer Support Representative in a federal government IT service delivery operation chartered with large scale, multi-faceted IT support.
Must have experience resolving desktop security vulnerabilities
Must have experience creating and distributing reports via service management systems (SNOW, Remedy, etc)

Configure and install various IT hardware and application systems such as desktops, printers, peripherals. routers, servers, switches, Wi-Fi antennas, Network security devices, Access control system any other application once given the necessary procedures and authorization.
Troubleshooting IT related issues on Windows operating systems, printers and Microsoft applications.
Develop installation schedules, prepare and create installation packages.
Prepare documentation for configuration changes at each site and supporting test reports.
Assist in development of a training plan for site personnel on the use of equipment in collaboration with the training manager.
Coordinate post installation operations and maintenance support.
Training and Certifications:
Education:
GED with a minimum of 3+ years years demonstrated related work experience in a large multi-platform Information Services environment.
HDI institute certifications
ITIL Certified

Pay 20-30H
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
