Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Acquisition Program Management Analyst to join a collaborative team in Aberdeen, MD, supporting a dynamic and evolving mission within a Department of Defense (DoD) Program Executive Office. In this role, you will guide programs through key acquisition milestones and decision-making processes, ensuring compliance with DoDI 5000 and DoDD 5000 series regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing acquisition documentation, supporting acquisition cycle planning and execution, and advising on program strategies and milestone decision reviews (MDRs). You will work closely with program leadership, serving as a subject matter expert on acquisition milestones across multiple ACAT IIV programs, including modifications and new starts. A strong understanding of Army acquisition processes is highly preferred, as you will regularly interpret and apply current guidance, including DoDD 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02, 5000.80, 5000.85, AR 750-10, and other relevant policies. Additionally, you will assist in tracking program risks and issues and manage documentation requirements using the Adaptive Acquisition Framework Document Identification Tool (AAFDID). This position is ideal for individuals with a strategic and financial mindset who excel at synthesizing programmatic documentation across multiple efforts. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and punctuality are essential for success in this role.

Compensation:
$40hr to $70hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
-DoD Secret Clearence
-4+ years of experience supporting DoD acquisition processes in support of milestone reviews
-Extensive experience tracking and reporting acquisition documentation in compliance with DoDI and DoDD 5000 series.
-Experience developing documents: Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capabilities Development Document (CDD), and Capabilities Product Document (CPD).
-Proven ability to prepare and manage Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs).
-Strong grasp of cost, data, and risk analysis in financial management.
-Experienced in requirements management and strategic planning for a DoD Program Executive Office (PEO), Project Manager (O6 PM), or Product Manager (O5 PdM)
-Experience supporting multiple programs across Acquisition Categories (ACAT) I, II, III, and IV, and modification programs.
-Well-versed in Army Acquisition Process compliance.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Active TS or SCI
-Masters Degree in a financial or technical discipline
-Army Project management resource tool (PMRT), task management tool (TMT), or Adaptive Acquisition Framework Document Identification Tool (AAFDID) experience
-Experience with the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (DODD 5000.01, DODI 5000.02, DoDI 5000.80, DODI 5000.85) or (AR 70-1)
-Experience with the Army Modification Program (AR 750-10)
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
