A large Logistics company is looking for an Site Manager to sit onsite 5 days a week at the BWI Airport. Listed below are the tasks you will be completing.
- Managing a team of 25 employees
- Lead and set direction for team to complete needed preventative and corrective maintenance activities as required by scope of work
- Manage Site P&L to achieve budgetary cost and margin goals
- Participate and take an active role in weekly, monthly and quarterly meeting with customers and customers agents to review performance
- Ensure proper administration of all documentation related to safety, maintenance work orders, PMs & CMs, parts inventory, and labor hours. Improve capability and capacity of maintenance personnel through ongoing mentoring and training
- Plan and manage resources to ensure the most cost effective execution by maintenance team. Train, manage, and lead employee performance to insure continuous improvement
- Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to solve problems as needed and set plans for meeting Customer's goals
- Ensure a safe work environment for employees and certify that safe work practices are being consistently performed
- Develop, maintain, and enforce site specific policies and procedures including but not limited to: Communication plans, safety plans, contingency plans, attendance, quality control of craftsmanship, inventory management, training requirements, PLC code control (per TSA's guidelines)
- Assist Customer in administering the spare parts allowance and provide support with audits of spare parts inventory
- Promote training initiatives
- Generate standard operating procedures
- Conduct BHS failures root cause assessments
- Conduct ongoing BHS Assessments
- Maintain current software licenses with Airport and vendors
