Job Description

A large logistics customer is looking for an experienced Electrical Controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial controls. You will be working alongside an Engineering team to commission and new Baggage Handling System . Listed below are some of your daily responsibilities.

System Design and Configuration: Collaborate with the engineering team to design and configure control systems for the baggage handling system.
Installation and Setup: Oversee the installation and setup of electrical components and control devices.
Testing and Calibration: Conduct tests and calibrations to ensure all systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions in the control systems.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and technicians to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project progression.

Required Skills & Experience

2-6 years of Electrical Controls Experience
Knowledge of industrial controls (Allen Bradley PLCs)
Ability to read control device layouts and E-stop zone drawings
Proficiency with Excel
Willingness to work extended hours or night shifts if needed

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Background in controls maintenance or engineering
Knowledge of RSLogix 5000
Bachelors Degree
