- Create Protection & Control Smart Blocks using AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE) and associate attribute information.
- Develop/convert Protection & Control standards to smart drawings in an ACADE environment.
- Develop required procedures, job aids and flow charts in support of Intelligent CAD.
- Develop and manage the AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE) database utilizing existing other data sources to ensure content is data rich.
Compensation:
$55/hr to $62/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering and/or Licensed Professional Engineer or Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering is preferred or Certificate from a recognized AutoCAD program is also acceptable.
- 5+ years of AutoCAD experience, preferably in Electrical Design.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience using AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE).
- 5-7 years of professional engineering and or design experience
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems and to read and understand protection and control drawings including but not limited to electrical one-line drawings, control wiring diagrams, relay panel detail drawings etc.
- Knowledge and ability to apply problem solving approaches and engineering theory and engineering designs, principles, and practices.
- Knowledge of complex field test equipment such as Protection and Control Relays.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with all management levels.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Background in Power Systems (Electrical substation equipment and their functions, protective relays etc.)
- Experience using Inventor, Autodesk Vault software.
- Familiarity with SDS toolkits for substation design in AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE)
- Database creation and management (Microsoft Access, SQL etc.)
