Job Description

We are seeking a lead electrical estimator to join an established electrical construction team. The Electrical Estimator will work on electrical construction projects bid and proposals through construction phase to completion, ensuring the work complies with all standards, specifications and budgets.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with a related associates degree or 12+ years of experience with a High School diploma or GED.
Proficient with Accubid; experience using sophisticated Estimating
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Knowledge of design principles, relevant codes, and safety standards.
Familiarity with electrical equipment, materials and specifications.
Experience with contract documents such as contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendum, specifications, and change orders.
Experience or exposure to technical writing.
Proven ability to effectively plan and organize one's own activities or the activities of others.
Familiarity with electrical equipment, materials and specifications. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience with contract documents such as contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendum.
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of electrical plans, blueprints and drawings.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Pluses:
Journeyman Electrician License
